<p>We are looking for honest hard working people that want to grow and learn to be one of the best heavy duty diesel Technician, Supervisor wanting to lead a team in this maintenance business.</p>
<p><strong>Some Responsibilities</strong>:<br />
• Performing Preventative Maintenance on class 7 & 8 medium-heavy duty tractors and trailers<br />
• Conduct fuel and electrical diagnostics with limited supervision<br />
• Complete most diagnostic repairs and parts replacements<br />
• Accurately complete written record of work performed<br />
• Communicate with Drivers/customers regarding “Vehicle Condition Reports” and make appropriate repairs<br />
• Maintain a clean work and shop area as directed “Safety”<br />
. On-Call & Stand</p>
<p><strong>Some Primary Duties</strong>:<br />
• Preventative Maintenance at shop and at customers facilities<br />
• Oil changes on many types of vehicles including <span class="caps">TRU</span><br />
• Air and hydraulic brakes trouble shooting and repairs<br />
• Lift & Rail gate PM, troubleshooting and repairs<br />
• Suspensions & steering trouble shooting and repairs<br />
• Drive train, rear end, transmissions automatic, manual troubleshooting and clutch change<br />
• General maintenance cab & chassis<br />
• California 90 day <span class="caps">BIT</span> & <span class="caps">USDOT</span> inspections<br />
• Air-conditioning troubleshooting and repair 608 & 609 a plus<br />
Some Requirements Qualifications:<br />
• Must have at least 5 years experience in vehicle maintenance & repair and or supervisor/managers exp.<br />
• High school diploma or equivalent required<br />
• Must provide your own tools<br />
• Must possess valid driver’s license preferably a commercial but not a requirement<br />
• Must be able to pass background checks and compliance<br />
o Criminal history check<br />
o <span class="caps">DMV</span> check<br />
o Physical & Drug Test<br />
• Trade school, mechanical course, or equivalent highly a plus.</p>
